JOB POST
For 12 months JOB POST served as an outreach to the community to help people find jobs and employers find employees. Interested people were given an opportunity to network themselves on live radio and were given helpful tips to help themselves with their search. Further, JOB POST offered a once a month JOB POST SUPPORT GROUP, supported by The Show Low Public Library; the efforts of Don Roper of the SL Library Computer Lab, Kelly Horne, Career Advisor for Northland Pioneer College, Jana Peterson-Szoke of NACOG, Diana Lowell of the NAU Senior Corp and others who came as individual citizens to assist with interview, resume, search tips to find jobs along with money saving tips. After one year, with few jobs available, JOB POST has done its job. January 25th was our final show. I will still be sharing information and keeping you abreast of the economic outlook on another show, THE CUTTING EDGE. We've given you the tools; do not give up your search. I want to thank all of our listeners, those who stepped out to help our community members, and the show's sponsor, Cellular One. It was my goal to help you and I pray that the show made a difference in your life. I sincerely wish you all the best in your search.
